The Ambiance
The social, cultural and economic environment matters a lot more than we think it does. The Ambiance is a hobby project in its early stages where we utilise Data Science to draw correlations between Design/Product Choices and their Impact on Social and Individual attributes.
Women’s Safety Band
India is one of the most dangerous countries for women with a rape case reported every 15 minutes. We designed a system for the initiative by BBMP named “Suraksha Mitra”, which focused on providing an SOS device for the safety of uneducated women from rural areas. Suraksha Mitra was a part of a bigger ₹1 Billion project led by BBMP and the Centre for Nirbhaya Fund. We worked towards a cost-effective and easy-to-use system that would reliably transmit the SOS alert and the location. Click here for more details.
Ubiquitous Mesh
A robust and resilient Mesh-network for smart cities that could be used for disaster management and relief operations as the system can function with minimal power requirements using LoRa, and can remain operative even when part of the network is down. The publication can be found here.
SCSD Networks
A Daisy Chain network system that is designed for Smart Cities and Smart Streets in order to improve pedestrian safety and optimise energy consumption. The publication can be found here.
HCH DEX
Hot-Cold Hybrid Decentralised Exchange: A Secure Cryptocurrency e-Wallet system that brings together the advantages of both Hot Wallets and Cold Wallets. The publication can be found here.
Smart Boarding System
A network and communication architecture that enables airports and airlines to utilise e-Passports for the boarding, check-in and immigration processes, using “Digital Stamps” that are inspired by Digital Signatures. The primary objective was to provide a secure and independent data exchange architecture that can be adopted at scale while enabling interoperability such that the same fundamental Smart Boarding System would be compatible between different airports and airlines.
